About the Counselor

Julie Wegryn is a New Jersey Licensed Professional Counselor and a Pennsylvania Licensed Psychologist. She is currently practicing in our Moorestown office as well as in Christian Counseling's Havertown, Pennsylvania office. Julie has a background in education as well as counseling. Previously, she was affiliated with the Institute for Christian Counseling and Therapy in Narberth, Pennsylvania, during which time she worked as a therapist with a focus on the integration of professional training and practice with Christian values and prayer. She continues to have a special interest in prayer and emotional/psychological and spiritual healing. Addressing spiritual issues as they impact daily life is important to her. Julie also has an interest in depth psychology and dreams.

Julie has 20 years of experience in general practice working with individuals and couples. She has worked extensively with individuals in treatment of abuse, trauma, and childhood wounding which impacts adult functioning. Other areas of concentration include marriage counseling, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, personal growth and midlife issues.
