About the Counselor
Rosina M. Ciocca is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of New Jersey and a National Certified Counselor. NJ License #37PC00003900.
Her expertise is in incorporating spirituality into her clinical work as counselor and psychotherapist.
Rosina has been working in the field of counseling in a private practice setting since 1986. (Prior to working in this field, she worked in social work and as a high school guidance counselor.) Christian Counseling was implemented with secular counseling around 1988 and she began to work exclusively as a Christian Counselor in 1993.
Her practice is a general one. She enjoys working with a variety of areas such as: marriage and relationship problems, parenting and family issues, the aftermath of divorce, sexual and emotional abuse, depression, low self-esteem, anxiety and stress, and many other issues. Rosina is dedicated to serving God through her work.
Education
Rosina M. Ciocca has her Master's Degree from Villanova University in Counseling & Human Services. She did post-graduate work at Chestnut Hill and Immaculate Colleges in psychology and counseling. Her undergraduate degree is from Holy Family College in Psychology. She continues her education by attending a variety of conferences and workshops.

Rosina is currently a member of American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC); American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA); New Jersey Counseling Association (NJCA) and New Jersey Mental Health Counselors Association (NJMHCA).
Awards
She received a Program Award for her group for Women Survivors of Sexual Abuse from the New Jersey Counseling Association.
She has received leadership awards from the New Jersey Mental Health Counselors Association.
